New here? Welcome!

We’re glad you’ve found us.

what to expect

Figuring out what camp and retreat to take your students to and send your children to can be overwhelming. There are many questions about what you can expect at a Southland event, so we hope that the following information will help you prepare to bring your students and send your children with their student ministry! If you have any questions or want to talk with us, then please contact (fill in the blank) as we would be happy to help you in any way!

who are you?

We are a group of pastors, student ministry directors, and volunteers who have a passion to see and provide an opportunity for Students to connect with God and connect with other students. You can read more about our mission and vision here (hyperlink).

what are your events?

We have two events for high school during the year. The Winter Retreat (link) is held at Camp Kulaqua in High Springs, FL, usually held in late-January or February. Our Summer Camp is at Whitewater Express Camp in Ocoee, TN, usually at the end of June and going into July. We also have two events for middle school students. Our Winter Retreat (link) is at Camp Southwind in Ocklawaha, FL at the end of February or beginning of March. Our Summer Camp is held at Camp Kulaqua in the middle of July.

what are your events like?

Our events are filled with a great combination of worship through God’s Word and songs, and having fun with planned activities like sports tournaments and tubing down the Ichnetucknee River. We have preachers and bands that are connected to various churches in the PCA. But one of the best things about Southland events is that students get to get away from their very busy, always on, always distracted lives. We highly encourage students and leaders to put phones away and be present with the people God has brought you here with.
